Terms of Service
Last updated 30 August 2026
These terms apply when you install and use NordStock. By installing the app you agree to them.
NordStock is not available yet. It is not in the Shopify App Store, so nothing described below — plans, trials, billing — is running today. These terms take effect on the day you can actually install it.
1. Who you are contracting with
NordStock is provided by Nordvara.ai, a sole proprietorship operated by Bart Vrancken. From November 2026 the contracting party becomes Nordvara.ai AB, a Swedish limited company. Reach us through the contact form.
2. What NordStock does
NordStock is inventory management software for Shopify merchants: purchase orders, supplier records, a receiving terminal, cost price history and stock control. It reads data from your store and, when you take an action that requires it, writes stock levels and cost prices back.
NordStock never changes anything in your Shopify store on its own. Stock and cost prices are written back only as the result of something you did — confirming a receipt, or correcting a stock level.
3. Your account
- You need an active Shopify store to use NordStock
- You are responsible for who in your organisation has access to your Shopify admin, and therefore to NordStock
- You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter — supplier details, cost prices, received quantities
4. Plans and payment
NordStock is offered on monthly subscription plans. Prices are shown on our website and in the app before you confirm.
- Billing runs through Shopify's billing system. Charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice
- Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. No card details are collected by us at any point
- Subscriptions renew every 30 days until you cancel
- Prices are in euro and exclude any VAT that applies to you
5. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your Shopify admin, under Apps. Your subscription stays active until the end of the paid period; there is no penalty and no notice period.
Uninstalling the app cancels the subscription. Since billing is per 30-day period and handled by Shopify, part-period refunds are not issued automatically — if you think you were charged in error, write to us and we will look at it.
6. Your data stays yours
You own the data you put into NordStock and everything derived from it, including your cost price history. You can export it in full, at any time, in CSV.
We do not sell it, do not share it with other merchants, and do not use it to train any model. See the Privacy Policy.
7. Availability
We aim to keep NordStock running continuously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, upstream outages at Shopify or at our hosting provider, and faults can all cause downtime.
If a failure on our side prevents you from using the service for a meaningful period, contact us and we will make it right on the subscription.
8. Forecasts and suggestions are advice, not fact
NordStock can suggest reorder quantities and flag likely stockouts. These are estimates based on your own sales history. They are not guarantees. Purchasing decisions remain yours, and we are not liable for the commercial consequences of decisions made on the basis of a forecast.
9. Acceptable use
Do not use NordStock to break the law, to attempt to reach another merchant's data, to overload or probe our infrastructure, or to resell the service as your own. We may suspend an account that does, and will tell you why.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim arising from these terms is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost sales or loss of data caused by circumstances outside our control. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will email installed merchants at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use NordStock after that means you accept the new terms.
12. Ending the agreement
You can end it at any time by uninstalling. We can end it if you seriously breach these terms, or if we discontinue the service — in which case we will give at least 60 days' notice and make sure you can export everything first.
13. Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes go to the competent courts of Sweden, unless mandatory consumer law in your country gives you the right to bring the matter elsewhere.
