Cookie Policy
Last updated 1 September 2026
We set no cookies. Not one. Not on this website, not in the app. There is no tracking cookie, no advertising cookie, and no analytics cookie, so there is nothing here for you to accept or refuse.
That is unusual enough that it deserves an explanation rather than a claim, so this page lists everything NordStock puts on your device and what each item is for.
What we do store, and it is not cookies
Two small values live in your browser’s local storage. They never leave your device, they are never sent to us, and they cannot identify you.
| Name | What it is for | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| nordstock_taal | The language you picked — English, Dutch, German or Swedish — so you do not have to pick it again on every visit | Until you clear your browser data |
| cookie_consent | A single flag remembering that you have seen the notice at the bottom of the page, so it does not come back on every visit | Until you clear your browser data |
The name cookie_consent is a leftover from how these notices are usually built. It stores nothing about you; it only records that the notice was dismissed.
How we count visitors
We use Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It is cookieless: it sets nothing on your device and stores no personal data. We see totals, not people.
Because it stores nothing on your device and holds no personal data, it needs no consent under the ePrivacy rules. That is why the notice at the bottom of the page tells you what happens instead of asking permission for something we are not doing.
Inside the app
When you use NordStock inside your Shopify admin, Shopify handles your session. We do not add cookies of our own. The app stores the same language preference described above, and nothing else.
Third parties we do not use
Worth saying plainly, because their absence is the point:
- No Google Analytics, no Google Tag Manager
- No Meta pixel, no advertising or retargeting network of any kind
- No embedded fonts, maps, videos or chat widgets that would load from someone else’s server
- No social media buttons that phone home
Our public pages load nothing from outside our own domain. You can check that yourself: open your browser’s network tab and watch where the requests go.
How to remove what is stored
Clear site data for this domain in your browser settings, and both values are gone. Nothing breaks: you will simply be asked for your language again, and the notice will reappear once.
Changes
If we ever start using cookies, this page changes first and the notice at the bottom of the page becomes a real choice, with a working refuse button. Until then it stays what it is: information, not a request.
